Get ready to smile, laugh and be amazed when you join us at the 24th annual Edmonton International Street Performers Festival, July 4 – 13, 2008. We are thrilled to bring the world’s best street performers to you, your family and friends. So juggle your schedules and get ready to play with us in Sir Winston Churchill Square!

Which act will be your favourite? Will it be one of our great circle shows or perhaps one of the multi-talented roving artists? Will it be a musician, magician, escape artist, face painter or juggler? Take care of your latest balloon sculpture when you grab a snack from one of our vendors. Bring the whole family to play at Kids’ World or participate at a Be Your Own Busker workshop in the ATB Financial Big Tent. Join us for our nightly Troupe du Jour performances. Each night a different cast will bring you the freshest taste of StreetFest on the steps in Sir Winston Churchill Square. There is definitely something for everyone.

Edmonton audiences have a generous reputation the world-over. From circle shows to our Troupe du Jour showcases, you pay for performances in the pass-the-hat tradition. We thank you for showing the artists your true appreciation for their unique skills and talents.

The Edmonton International Street Performers Festival is pleased to bring together artists, volunteers, board members and staff along with our government funders, corporate sponsors and local businesses to bring you another amazing edition of StreetFest. Special thanks go to our board of directors, dedicated volunteers and fabulous staff for all they do to bring you such a world class event.

We truly appreciate the support we receive from the Department of Canadian Heritage, Canada Council for the Arts, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and the Edmonton Arts Council through the City of Edmonton. These funders and many businesses - large and small - help us put a smile on the face of downtown Edmonton for 10 days every July.
